Where food is made.

Karasu Nacht finds his way into the kitchen and begins cooking, even though he couldn't see the utensils he could determine what they are used for by in weight. Karasu Nacht brews some home made tea as he begins cutting up carrots with a content smile on his face.

Karasu Nacht let the pot heat up before placing the rice inside it. Standing there listening to the bubbling pot he begins to get the chicken ready and cuts them into little peices with the kitchen knife. He smiles when he is finished and waits for the rice to cook by listening to it, for he was making a simple chicken and rice with cooked carrot dish. Frowning lightly, he wasn't sure that Felicity would want any but didn't let it bother him.

Felicity walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, following her sense of smell to the food's source. She smiled when she saw Karasu cooking and watched him, trying to be quiet so she wouldn't bother him she just stood still, blinking her blood red eyes.

Karasu Nacht tilted his head for he thought he heard something and he smiled looking in Felicity's direction. "I hope your hungry?" Karasu Nacht turned his attention back to the tea and picking up the kettle with a oven mitten he places it on a tray not caring what color it was as he smiles.

"Of course" Felicity smiled and wondered if she could learn how to cook. She never had to worry about cooking before so she didn't learn. At least not cooking in a kitchen but she could cook over a fire outside, it was how she got food when she had to. "What you're making smells good." she commented as she smiled.

Karasu Nacht lightly blushes for he had never been commented on his food before. "Thank you, its a simple chicken dish with rice and carrots. When school starts, I'll make your lunch." Karasu Nacht chuckles at himself for he sounded like a mother. Opening the pot and using his ears, he takes out a even amount of rice placing them on two plates. "Can you cook, Felicity?" Karasu Nacht asked as he smiles putting even amounts of food onto each plate turning off everything, he then holds the tray with everything on it. He then looks in her direction curiously.

"Really? That'd be nice." she said and smiled then blushed a bit as she looked down a little then giggled a bit at herself "No I can't. Not really. I can cook over fires like camp fires with simple like things such as fish but I can't cook at all when it comes to cooking in a kitchen. I was never taught, the thought for me learning wasn't there was what my parents and others thought."

Karasu Nacht nods as he walks to her a bit. "Well, cooking isn't really hard. Well when I first cooked it was hard but, well I could probably teach you if you want?" Karasu Nacht tilts his head a bit as he heads for the living room while he was holding the tray of food as well as the tea.

Felicity blinked and followed after him as she said "Really? I'd like to know how to cook a few things, I just don't know what things I'd like to know how to cook yet." she smiled some as she went into the living room behind him.

Felicity walked into the kitchen with her own cup and Karasu's as she walked to the sink and began to clean all the dishes that were used. She hummed a bit as she watched them, her eyes mostly closed. She washed the dishes at an easy pace, not really feeling a rush to hurry while doing them.

Felicity finished with the dishes and put them away once she had dried them then went back to the living room, wondering what Karasu was doing. She peeked into the living room to see he was out on the porch and smiled as she went back into the kitchen. Felicity wondered if she should over him something to drink since she couldn't fix food and he had knocked over his tea earlier so she walked back out to the living room

Karasu Nacht remembered where things were, his closed eye lids twitched faintly as he touched the counter of the kitchen and he twitched but tried to not let it show. Karasu Nacht gathered items and placed dumplings on a stick and tried to do it well for he couldn't see them and cooking them proved to be a bit of a challenge but he played it as if it was easy. Karasu Nacht's mind was long gone with many thoughts. why was he so well tense?. Karasu Nacht couldn't really guess it as he leaned against a random counter and sighed faintly his expression blank.

Karasu Nacht felt around finally finding the glove and picks up the hot sticks with the fairly cooked dumplings on them. Karasu Nacht placed them in a plate and he smirked faintly before turning off the heat and looking in the direction of the living room. Karasu Nacht's expression became a worried one before becoming a disant one as he walks to the cabinents and drawing out a bag with crushed tea leaves inside it as he places them in three cups that he had a hard time finding. Pouring hot water into each of the cups, Karasu Nacht goes silent.

Karasu Nacht placed everything on a tray and looked down toward the still hot freshly cooked dumping sticks of 6. Karasu Nacht was leaning against the counter near them as he counted down when they would cool off. Reaching to his obi belt and fixing his sash of his kimono he looked a little well exhausted, Karasu Nacht was confused but didn't say anything. Karasu Nacht was worried cause what would happen if he or Felicity got married. That bothered him.

Karasu Nacht had been thinking silently to himself for a long time. Karasu Nacht wasn't even thinking of the food at the moment and that made him jump, quickly he walked a little way to the food and touching one of the dumplings he frowned. Karasu Nacht walked to the microwave with shakey hands and placing the plate with the dumplings inside he looked well troubled as his fingers touched the buttons but was not pushing any of them. He was really in a bind now.

Karasu Nacht sighed in defeat, he couldn't really do anything with things that ended up with numbers. Karasu Nacht counted in his head his numbers and setted the number but quickly changed his mind and tried to undo it and he sighed with his head lightly down his closed eye lids shivered in frustration. Karasu Nacht had completely forgot that the tea had also cooled down a great deal.

Felicity walked into the kitchen quietly and blinked as she saw him. To her, he looked like he was just standing there, leaning against a counter. "Karasu?" she called to him softly and walked over so she was near him "I think the tea's cooled down." she said, smiling. Felicity figured he was thinking and that was why he seemed distracted. Then she looked at him a bit more seriously "Is something troubling you?" she asked.

Karasu Nacht jumped and actually came to even though his expression was calm his mouth was opened a bit and his hand which were now close to his chest were shivering. "A-Ah, nothing is wrong. Why did you leave Selvina alone. She needs our help and so I plan to give her it." Karasu Nacht was trying to play it cool and yet his hands were giving it away. Karasu Nacht gasped and looked in the direction of the tea. "Shoot! I forgot the tea" Karasu Nacht's expression became a sad one.

Felicity frowned, putting her hands in front of her and holding one arm's wrist with the other hand. "I told her I'd only be a moment. I wanted to check on you, I don't plan to leave her unattended for long." she said softly and looked at his hands. She was quiet for a moment before she looked up at him directly "Karasu....what's on your mind? You look so sad..." she said softly and reached a hand out to touch his upper arm gently.

Karasu Nacht gasped at the sudden touch and he sighed trying to relax himself. Karasu Nacht had to be calm at all times and yet the thoughts of her marrying someone and leaving him alone made him sad that's for sure. "Felicity, just answer this question for me cause well I need it answered" Karasu Nacht placed the tea and dumplings aside for the moment.

Felicity blinked, tilting her head to the side a bit. "What is your question? I'll answer." she said. She thought it must have been important from the way he was acting or maybe his question was just rooted to curiosity and had nothing to do with his behavior. She wouldn't know.

Karasu Nacht sighed and he looked in her direction, his expression was now fully calm. "What would you do when you get married, I'm just saying this out of curiousity but if you did would you leave?" Karasu Nacht wanted to get this off his chest for if he was married he would never kick Felicity out. It just wasn't in his nature to kick anyone out.

Felicity blinked then shook her head "I wouldn't leave. I... I don't plan to marry anyway or at least not for a very long time. It takes so much trust and it's hard to find that in people but I don't think many would want to marry someone who had been married then tossed out." she said the last bit quietly, as if speaking to herself as she remembered her first and only marriage so far. It had been horrible and a mistake she deeply regretted. She looked down, tilting her head slightly as her eyes looked at the floor and her right hand brushed back so stray blond strands of hair from her face so they were behind her ear.

Karasu Nacht nodded pleased with her answer and he smirked softly. "Okay, but please remember I don't think of you that way. My heart has eyes and I know truly and deeply you are a good person" Karasu Nacht placed his black hair a bit behind his ears and he smiled warmly for he ment every word.
