Kitchen

The kitchen inside Amunet's house.

Walking from the alleyways, Amunet helped Kage into her home, walking through the door that leads from the outside into the kitchen. Though there are many doors leading from the outside into her home, she decided the one closest to her. "We are here, Kage."Amunet said calmly to Kage as she took him over to a chair and sat him down.

Kage sat down on the chair, he was a bit dazed. His breathing was slow but deep as he could not oxygen. He moves his look at Amunet. *Great...* His voice was shaking.

Amunet watched him. "What?"She asked him as she sat down in a chair a few feet away from Kage. "By the way, Kage. There is a guest bedroom and bathroom that you can stay in and use. That is if you like."Amunet told him as she looked around her kitchen.

Kage sighs and then looks at Amunet. *Thanks for the offer, but I don't sleep.* He said while his look moves around the room, he smiles as his look moves at Amunet. *Nice house...* His voice was soft as it slowly stopped to shake.

"Oh but you need to rest. To keep your body healthy and strong. Not like it is now. Now you are rather weak if you ask me."Amunet told him as she got up, stood in front of him and placed her hands on the sides of his face gently. When she placed her hands on the side of his face gently, she made sure that he was still looking at her, her eyes staring deeply down into his eyes, she smiled at him.

Kage smiles as Amunet puts her hands on the sides of his face, still looking at her eyes. *I will... Don't worry.* He closes his white eyes, after a few seconds he opens them again, they were back to dark brown color.

Amunet brought her hands back down to her sides and smiled at him, her fangs showing completely as she smiled. "Good. Because you need it. I will even force you to rest if I have to."Amunet said with a soft giggle as she then turned and sat back down in the chair she was sitting in earlier.

Kage smiles, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. *Never had time to rest... Well... Maybe because I can't sleep...* He sighs. *Been going on for more than fifteen years...* Then he laughs a little. *How the years go...*

Amunet looked at him in slight confusion. "How come you have'nt rested in so long, Kage?"She asked him as she got up and walked over to the refridgerator. "Hmm."She thought to herself then opened the door to the fridge and pulled out 2 bags of blood, human blood. "Here. I want you to drink this. All of it, at least until you are full." Amunet told him in a kind, calm and somewhat soothing voice as she walked over to him with 2 glasses, and the 2 bags of blood.

Once she was over to the table where Kage was, she sat everything down, opened up the bags of blood, pouring them into the glasses, and then sat down, slowly pushing one of the glasses filled with blood over to Kage.

Kage took a look a the glass filled with blood... It didn't take long to see his reaction, he just did not like blood... His "curse" prevents him from drinking it, if he drinks it even a tiny drop, the pain that it will cause him will be great...

*I can't drink blood.* His hands without thinking just moved and pushed the glass of blood away from him, eyes concentrated on the glass he sighs and moves his look slowly at Amunet. *Please don't make me drink it...* After saying that, Kage closed his eyes with a sad look on his face.

Amunet sighed as she looked at him, pulling the glass to her and drank all of the blood, including what was in her glass. "Fine. But we will have you drinking blood, soon." She told him in a somewhat angry tone, yet still very calm as usual.

Kage smiles, as he looks at the empty glass his head started to hurt a little. He then moved his look at Amunet still with a smile on his face. *I'm not like the rest... I can only drink water... And it gives me power...* After saying that he moved his hand on his head, touching the back side of it where it started to hurt him.

"So what exactly is this curse? And how did you get it?"Amunet asked him somewhat firmly as she moved so fast that she was right in front of him, looking at him with her blue-ish green eyes as she had her hand on the back of his head where his hand was.

Kage smiles as he moves his look up at the ceiling. *It's really a long story, but...* He moves his look back at Amunet's eyes, the color of her eyes really made him relax. *When I was born, a group of people changed something inside of me...My genetic code... With black magic they somehow removed my erge for blood, and changed it to an erge for water... Blood... When I try to drink it... I can kill myself...*
