| "N-Nani? Uh, Hai! I can take care of myself" Replied Akira as he looked to the guy in pure shock, even though it didn't show on his face it showed in his eyes as well as his voice's tone. Akira shrugged randomly for he never expected this guy to care, after all aren't they not suppose to care about a human? After all to them Humans are lower than dirt or something. He didn't really know.
Akira looked to Masa fully and he smiled even though it wasn't a really pure smile, it was a smile none the less. "You don't have to worry, after all I have a gift which it has saved me many times..." Akira laughed in the middle of it as he leaned his head back as he continued. "Even though it is probably nothing compared to your strength right?"

| "Oi, why do you sound surprise...?" Masa questioned, for the first time, facing Akira, though he does have a pissed off kind of expression with a tick mark on his forehead. Seeing the smile soften him a little. He's definally one of those people. Who seemed to be surviving the whole time, either with themselves, or the world. Hearing what Akira said, Masa sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. Honestly, he doesn't really care of he's powerful enough, unlike his parents and such. With a dismissive wave, he said. "How should I know. I met plently of powerful humans enough..." Masa said as he paled a little at the thought. He has a lot of assasination attempts when he was little. Some are demons, some are vampires, some are lycans, and some are humans. Humans are definally powerful, for it was hard to even get escape from them without any kinds of spells or traps getting him the next second. | |

| "Oi, I'm only surprised cause you actually seem to care just a tiny bit. If that's to much than a microsopic bit. Besides, even if you met a lot of strong humans your still here and that says something, even though for me I tend to run away unless I really need to fight." replies Akira as he looks to the side as his gaze stays fixed on Masa for he is actually opening up, or actually maybe not opening up. He's maybe more of talking cause he knows Akira won't leave, Akira didn't know and thus shrugged it off.
Akira places his arms up in the air as he stretches, closing his eyes and sighing contently. Akira Hotaka looks to Masa as he places his arms in a cross like position around his chest, in other words in a crossed arm fashion.

| Masa twitched but refrain himself from making a rude kind of come back. "Well, of course I'll still be here. Do you expect me to say, "oh my! It's a human! I should run for it!"? It's not like I expected everyone to go after my throat." Masa huffed as he closed his eyes, sighing. Well, he didn't want to move because he found a too comfortable spot to, but still, he wasn't going to leave because of Akira. | |

| "No? It really doesn't bother me cause well, I know to your guys point of view you hate humans..." Akira kicked his feet silently as he looked down to his lap before glancing up to Masa. "Its bad enough that I'm new here and already not that many people care much for me due to me being a human and all...." Akira went silent for a while before snickering with his eyes closed as he continued. "And besides, you need to work on that if your trying to be funny or if your trying to insult me"
Akira looked to Masa with a calm smile, he looked away with his smile now a smirk as he hugged himself softly for he was a bit scared to hear what Masa had to say. After all he may of crossed a line.

| "Pft." Masa covered his mouth as he turn his face away, looking as if he was actually going to laugh. He didn't expected something so truthful from the guy. He can tell the guy was, how would you say? Closed up? Putting his hand over his eyes, a smirked formed on his mouth.
"I'll say this, I guess I do need to work on that part." Masa started, "but seriously, what you said, is pretty an insult to everyone here." Masa flashed his black, sharp eyes towards Akira between his fingers. "What makes you think we creatures hate humans? What makes you think no one here cares about you?" Masa couldn't help but question, as he sat up, his hands off over his eyes.

| "Hm, just a gut feeling. Its bad enough that they look at me like I don't belong here" replies Akira as he glances to Masa, he always knew that if he is in place or he isn't. Creatures are everywhere and Akira could tell it after all, he can see some differences from them. His father had always said trust your bodies feelings for it may save him one day, and here Akira is and still alive amazingly enough.
Looking down to his white tennis shoes, Akira's expression some what becomes blank as his gut feeling increased. He hasn't been eating all due to his nervousness and caution, after all if Akira shows any sign of weakness he will be torn to peices or even worse sucked dry of his life. Akira's father had told him countless times to never show fear and he's going to stick up for it, considering he wants to see his parents again.
"Besides, don't play stupid with me. I mean sure we all feel the same but we think, react, and the ways of our upbringing and living are different." Akira says this bitterly after all his blood was on the peek of boiling, it was bad enough that when he became uncomfortable or became angry he says what he means.

| Masa only raised an eyebrow at what he said and shook his head. He can tell the guy was getting irritated, angry or something familar to that feeling. Sighing, he jumped onto his feet and walked over to the guy. Out of habit, he flickered him on the head; something he always does when he thought someone was a idiot of the sort. Soon after that, he ruffled the kid's head out of habit also, something he always did with his butler, Toshiro, when he did a stupid mistake and Masa ended up having to fix it. It wasn't hard to do since he was five inches taller than the boy. "Sure, the way they see you always tells what they are actually like." Masa scoffed, putting his hand back ot his side. He sighed inwardly in his mind, he's been hanging out with his mother-like butler too much. "I'll agree with you on this; we all do think, react. But the way we're living, the way we're brought up, aren't the same. They way we all act, isn't the same at all." Masa said, his sharp eyes staring at Akira. "If so, there would be more people like you, or like me." Masa started to walk back to where he was, feeling the hated sun heating the back of his head. He sat on one of the railing, looking out in the scenary. "Beside, I don't exactly hate you, so you shouldn't think the world hates you at all."
Yep, Toshiro's teachings are definally getting to him.

| Akira rubs his head lightly for he hated being treated like a kid after all he was 18 years old, and at that age his father said he was a adult. "Just so you know, I know that the world doesn't hate me but it doesn't mean anything. I know I'm some what right..." Akira didn't like be told differently what he thought was right after all his words count.

| "Ah~ But that doesn't mean your not wrong. Everyone have their own opinion on something." Masa said, flashing his eyes as he sworn he saw something white....no, it should be. "Your right on a few things, but your wrongs on a few things also. I never said you're completely wrong. Your opinion is too narrowed on yourself though." Masa looked back at the boy and tilted his head with a slight raised eyebrow. The guy didn't like to debate on things that he totally thought he has the right idea on. Masa could tell by his expression. Many people are like that, probably wanting to people think what they wanted. Masa would've cared either less if the human agreed with him or not, but the boys ideas were somewhat annoyingly narrowed, not even opening up to the possiblity of others. | |

| Akira simply looked down as he expression becomes hard as he thinks to himself, Akira guessed that he was this way do his parents that raised him. After all his father hated being proved wrong as well as his mother for they both worked in a large real estate company. Akira didn't looked at Masa for his frustration began to build as a cold yet distant aura took place around him. | |

| Feeling his frustration, Masa raised his hands up in defense. "Oi, I don't expect you to agree with me. Nor do I expect you to change your ideas. I'm just saying that you're being a bit narrowed minded." Masa admitted, shaking his head.
Looking at him, with narrowed eyes, really closely, he couldn't help but think a bit about what his life was like. Somehow, thinking about it made him a bit irked, not towards the human, more likely towards his parents. "Hold on, can I guess something here? Your parents have high expection for you and when you were young, they pounded their ideas onto yourself, right? They were famous and high in society and such." Masa said...though when he said that, he looked away, an irritated face twitched a few times as a dark, angry aura practicly surrounded his whole being. Saying that just plainly reminded him of his parents, who were always, always saying 'what is right' or 'what is wrong'. As much as he appreciated their efforts (well, not really appreciated it >.>), he couldn't help but rethink about what they have to do to pound those ideas in his head. Except for the result to come out what Akira became, Masa rebellied against those ideas full heartedly, resulting in many punishments to come...

| "Hai..." replies Akira with a cold expression over his features. He didn't like talking about his parents after all it brought a sad pain throughout his whole entire being. Akira closed his eyes just a bit only then to frown sadly, he loved his parents so much that he wanted to be like them and thus he was glad he was like his father after all he was his idol of some kind, the only man he went to when Akira needed help as well as comfort. The same goes for his mother as well as his friends. | |

| Seeing his expression, Masa calmed down. The kid obviously love his parents, so much, that he probably didn't want to think of them wrong as all. He understand that, really he did, though he was only like that for a short, very short, while, but.... Masa didn't say anything else about the matter. It wouldn't help the kid at all the way he is right now. 'If you don't find your own ideas, you won't become your own person.' Thought Masa as he raked his hair between his fingers. You can't rely on anyone all the time. Masa learned that at a very young age.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I obviously said too much!" Masa blurted out, huffing soon after as he face away, putting his arms behind his head. It was as Toshiro said; Don't be in other's businesses when they were never yours in the first place. It probably only be worse for an outsider to be included when they don't know anything in the first place. "S-So stop making that face. People should be happy." What he meant by that, even he didn't know himself. But when he first got here, people were happy. He didn't know why, he didn't know how, but they were happy nonetheless.

| Akira stood up getting fed up with sitting while Masa was standing and what not, seeing him stand made him feel out of place. "Arigatou, {Thank You} for caring and everything..." Akira looked down blanky even though his expression remained the same as before but his voice was a little well happier.
Akira glanced to Masa before sighing and asking. "This maybe a bother and stuff but I want to know, what is your name?" Placing his arms behind his head he remained calm and not at all showing that much emotion after all, Akira knew if he did show a lot of emotion here it would be his downfall.

| Masa turned his eyes towards Akira and chuckled, unknowingly giving the guy a smile. "Not a bother really. Names are names." Masa said, putting his hands into his pockets now. "But you'll have to give me your name as soon as I said mines, don't like to be in the dark much." Turning his body toward Akira, he introduced himself. "My name is Masa; Daemon, Masa." He held out his hand. "Welcome to Vampire Academy. I'm new here also." | |

He smiled back a bit as he shook his hand in a respectful yet friendly way, Akira let go of his hand after a few seconds. At most 5 seconds after the shake, Akira then placed his hands as well as his arms back at his side.

| Masa simply just put his hand back into his pocket. "Yosh, nice to meet you too." He said, with a simple nod. "But don't call me dono, I feel a bit older than I was suppose to be.." He knows it, he's getting a bit too comfortable with the guy, but he found no harm in it. It wouldn't hurt to have company once in a while, right? Heh, this school might be interesting rather than he school he went to in the abyss. Home was getting a bit boring.
With a smack, Masa found something hit the back of his head and blinked, as he grabbed whatever it was before he fell on the floor. It was a cane....his cane... Raising an eyebrow, he twirling his cane a little before slamming the end down with a loud 'smack', nodded in approval at the sense of familarity. "Thought I lost it." He said mostly to himself as he slid it up off the ground.
"I found it....Masa Rosia Daemon..."
Masa instantly paled and instantly tense, slowly turning his head towards the culpit of the voice, his face having a fearful and nervous expression on his face. There, a man that looks the same age of Masa, with white hair and a clean, aristrocrated, black suit with a aura that seemed soft. Before Masa could even run, the back of his collar was already caught, and cursed at the fact that the man was taller than him. "Masa! How could you!!" Now that you can see a little closer, you can tell the man features are a bit childish and girly like, tears on the edge of his eyes. "Masa, you're the heir of you father's position, you have to attend these lessons!!" "Like heck I'm going to!!!" Masa yelled towards Toshiro, glaring at his mother like butler as he snapped the demon's hand away from his collar.

| Akira watched the both of them with lightly wide eyes. He rubbed the back of his head for he couldn't help but feel a awkward aura around them. Akira simply placed his hands in his pants pockets as he stared at the both of them, sadly to say he felt out of place cause well they were taller than him and thus that put some strain on him. After all demons did grow much quicker than humans, didn't they?
Akira shrugged that thought aside as he nervously smirks as he looked away for he can't help Masa, considering that they knew eachother and Akira knew better not to stick his nose where it didn't belong.

| This continued on for the moment. "And how can you leave me like that!?! During an important meeting peirod!!" "Like I care what's going on in a old boring elder's meeting about pointless things..." Masa said, turing his face away from Toshiro's as he put on a stuck up, defiance, comical, childish face. "But for you to be head the Baku-" "Like I care. I'm my own person. I don't wish for anyone to control me, at all." Masa said rebelliously and rudely, still having that stuck up face as he could tell that Toshiro was only getting madder. "Stop making that face! You're 149 years old already!" "Then let me do what I want already!!" They continued to glare at each other for at least a few minutes before both of them sighed, both of them in defeat. "Fine, fine, I'll tell them you have some urgents things that you have to attend to." Toshiro said, quickly waving it as yesterdays news. "Send them a basket of goods them for an apolgy and rescedules the next meeting for the geezers." Masa agreed then next, actually doing something professionaly well.
Toshiro nodded as he blinked, seeing Akira there for the first time. He began to panick. "Oh my!! I'm so sorry, please forgive me for my rude manners! My name is Toshiro, Masa's nana, it's very nice to meet you!" Toshiro soo introduced, giving Akira a gentle and kind smile, making Masa sighed either in 'here we go again' or in 'oh god...'.
"Were you with this idiot the whole time? (Masa: Who are you calling an idiot?!) I'm very sorry, he can be quite rude! I don't know how he became that way, when he was young-"
"Zip that lip or I'll rip it for you." Toshiro quickly shut his mouth as he can feeling a strong killing intent from his master, sweatdropping on the back of his head.

| Toshiro looked geninuely shock. He means, really shocked, his expression agape on what just Akira said. Usually, no, everyone would've agreed with what he said, more or less, but this guy just complimented the guy straight out. Masa, shocked or less, looked a bit embaress also, an unnoticable tint of red on his cheeks. But he is irked by Toshiro's shocked face.
Soon after, Toshiro's shocked faced turn into an expression of happiness. "You're a really good person, aren't you?" Toshiro questioned as he looked at Akira with a slightly tearful face, making Masa in the background smack his forehead. Soon, Toshiro faced his master, which is making Masa a bit nervous. A pat on the back was gave to the Baku Daemon. "You really don't deserve a person like that." "What the heck Toshiro!?!?" Masa screamed soon after as he slapped the hand away, his blush a little more noticable now. "I'm mean really, what the heck?!!?"

Snickering to what he just said he placed his arms behind his head as he watched them and smiled a lot bigger, Akira liked Masa after all he was the first person he talked with. "Don't tell others what they didn't need to know!"
