Haunted Battlegrounds

The battlegrounds that have been in this land for many centuries that have also been being haunted by all the soldiers that have died here. Be careful.

F'ral noticed the spirit as well, and decided to stay back. It was his job to make people dead, not pass them on to where they were supposed to go. He poked around a bit, till he found an old sward, it was rusted, and had a bunch of chips in it, but he didn't mind those. he needed to see what happened to this sword, and what happened on this battle field, he kept scouring around, and investigating, just for personal pleasure.

(( Note: My character has left this area in case I forgot to say; can't remember stuff. ))

River looked around, thinking of what to do now. She had gotten herself lost, and now she needed to find her way back to the academy before a Hunter found her. She sat down on a fallen pillar, chewing on her nails as she thought.

Masa sighed happily, a comical content face was shown on his features. Why he was happy you wonder? Well, for starters:
Haunted Battlegrounds.
If that didn't get his attention, then nothing else will ever.
He wasn't wearing his usual clothes of trench coats, suit with his favorite kind of hat. He is now only wearing a button up white shirt and some black slacks, stilling wearing some perfectly shiny black shoes. He It's almost dark out, which made his mood much for comfortable. He hated that blazing heated light in the sky, it's unbearable. He wondered how surface dwellers could even think about going out in the cursed sun!
Masa didn't notice the other present yet. Probaby because of the fact that he was in his own world full of horrific stuff and all those things that a demon loves.

River shook her head, dismissing an errant thought. She felt someone close at hand, but she ignored it, thinking it was another ghost. This is not going to work. I cannot even remember which way I came from... where her thoughts at the current moment in time, but they changed. They always changed.

Masa sighed contently as he looking upon the masses of graves in front of him. It feels like home to him, back down at the abyss. It couldn't be helped if it did. Masa is a creatures who loves creepy things.
Now, what would make this a bliss is that if he didn't have to remember about all the paper work that is back at home. Somehow, he managed to escape all of that, in some way. He just hoped it would be able to last for a long time before the seach party, that Toshiro surely did put out, would find him.

River sighed, noting that the person near her was not a ghost, his energy was different. She stood up, and looked at him dead on, "You interrupted my thinking." She said calmly. Her hand rested near her scythe haft. With a turn of her wrist, she could take it off of her back, and cut him in half, but she refrained. She always refrained.

Masa felt a muscle somewhere on his cheeked twitched, slowly turning around to the girl that got his attention. Great, so much for escaping some people. Isn't there a single place in this academy where he could get peace and quiet? Where people could at least leave him in his solitude? That's all he ever asked!
"Excuse me.. I don't expect to around anyone either...." Masa quietly grumbled, irritated that his short time of complete solitude is specficly over. Couldn't he just ignore her? Could she just ignore him? Well, when he thought of that, he knew it was too late for that option as he already answer out of spite.

River shook her head, clearing any thoughts of attacking him, and said, "I am River Malone, Vampire, and Shifter."

Masa don't plan to introduced himself to the girl. He never plan to meet people here, of all places!! Thoughts of kicking her out, attacking her, or bury her in one of the graves sounded a bit tempting to the demon right now, but he quickly erase those thoughts, knowing the conseqences soon after. Also, he doesn't feel like getting into a fight right now, too tired and lazy to do anything to the extreme of the sort.
With a tired sighed, he reluctantly introduced himself. He guess it was rude not to introduced himself when this girl, who he just meant, trusted him with her own name.
"My name...is Masa Daemon, of the Baku Akumas...." Masa said the familar sentence to her, looking at her with watchful eyes.

River looked at him, and cocked her head. She flicked her wrist, grabbing her scythe in defense. She had heard that name before, but she couldn't figure out where. If this came to a fight, she didn't want it to begin here. Her main asset was that she was fast with the swipe, the most useful attack with the scythe. She shook her head, and with another flick of her wrist, took it off of her back, and placed the blade on her shoulder.

Masa, a bit surprised at the sudden weapon, held his cane in front of him in defense, wonder why the world did he get out her weapons for? All he did was say his name, and he didn't think it was that special....other than the fact that his family are a noble kinds of demon who can ruin the mind of any creatures.... but other than that, she shouldn't know him by that much. As he saw her place the blade on her shoulder, he backed down, but only just a little. He didn't know how dangerous this girl is, and he doesn't really attended to find out.
Dang it, the office and the pile of paperwork are starting to sound pretty comfoty.

River looked at the man, and said in a calm, yet firm tone, "I should have you know, I am a ward of the academy, and if you try anything to harm me, I will cut you in half." She smiled a bit then, her eyes glowing in the darkness.

Masa felt a growled rumbled in his throat. This person is really ticking him off. Right now, everything about her is ticking him off. The tone on the way he said that despitable sentence, she was just looking for a one way ticket to hell.
"What makes you think I care, or that the fact that I'm easy like that!?" He spat, glaring at her with all the hate he can muster.
What in the world did he do!? He only introduced himself! First she whipped out her weapon on him, and now, she's threatening him?! He was, literlly, about to rip her apart! But, he couldn't...knowing that she's the ward of the school.....dang it, he's in deep trouble.
He knew -no- knows that he wasn't suppose to touch anyone who works at the school, though students are an exceptional...

River laughed, getting kinda irritated herself. She twitched once, and cut a small tree to his left in half, "I am lost, irritated, and sick of these fucking ghosts, do you really think I would care how strong you are?" She glared at him, and said, "I just want to get back to the academy..." For the first time, her voice sounded slightly weak, and it surprised her.

Masa was... he had to admit it, a little surprise at what she said, raising his eyebrow as he heard her. The sudden attiude caught him off guard, he didn't expected her to be... well lost in a way.
But he couldn't help but let out a "pft" while covering his mouth, obviously founding it a bit funny on how she's lost. He means, she is the ward of the school, right? So shouldn't see be able to find the way to the school?
Clearing his throat, trying to take away the feeling of laughing, he said:
"So a ward of the academy couldn't find her way?" He said it, clearly amused at the situation, but he knew better than to tempt her, so he soon added after that.
"I could pointed out the way and show you if ya like."
But he wondered if such a prideful person like her, would let him help her.

River sighed, "Yeah... I know I should, just... I don't leave my room much... ever." She was so surprised he offered to help her that she just nodded. Her mind was reeling now, and she sighed. She began the shift from her normal, to her other form. Her tail coming out, and her bones going into all the wrong places. Her skin turned black, as well as her eyes. Her teeth changed shape as well, becoming sharper, and more bite oriented than normal. She looked at him, and said, "This is what I really look like..."

Masa didn't seem at the least bothered by the transformation, looking at if this is something that he usually seen everyday, though he does have a curious glint in his eyes; indicating how interested he was on the form itself. But still, he ended up staying:
"Whatever. Let's get a move on before something more annoying comes along."
For some reason or another; the sentence sounded like he also found her presence annoying as well.

River sighed, and said, "You're not a very friendly guy, you know that right? I am sorry for the greeting I gave you, but you interrupted my thoughts, and well... kinda scared me..." For the first time that night, she sounded her age, young, and scared.

"When did you figured that out?" Masa sarcasticly said, rolling his eyes in the process. But seriously, people would figure that part out in first hand, since Masa is someone who made it very obvious.
Despite that so, something tugged inside of Masa as he heard her tone, making him immediantly disliking the feeling, and soon after ignored it, trying not to be consciously aware of it.
"W-Whatever." he stuttered, without knowing why he stuttered at all. It seemed that he was embarrassed, not knowing it too, at the fact of what she confessed to him.
"If you're that scared, just stay close." He huffed, finding her fear to be idiotic as he move forwards, not noticing the kind offer he just said.

River shook her head, "No, you're not getting it. YOU scared me, and still do." She rolled her eyes however, and placed herself against him, accidentally tripping.

Masa only rolled his eyes before ignoring her words, catching her as if it was something he did everyday before putting her straight up on her feet.
Well, it is kind of a reflex, seeing that he did it a ton of times with his butler, Toshiro, who was the most clumsiest butler he had ever seen. It didn't matter to Masa that much if his butler was clumsy though, he found it just part of his butlers personality, along with his annoying side.

River looked up at him, then shook her head, "I'm sorry... I should have seen the branch there..."

Masa didn't say anything as he turned quite coldly and continued on his way towards where he knows where the academy is so he can drop her off.
He didn't find the sudden clumsiness a bothered, since he's use to it and such.
He stopped after a few feet and looks at her, waiting for River to at least walk next to him so he'll know she'll be close or not.

River nodded, and followed him.
