The dorm of Akira Hotaka:

Caedan hopped in behind the hybrid and drawing his weapon in one smooth motion silently as ever, he breathed out, murmuring in the creature's ear. She's mine, and don't you forget it. I will personally bring you to inches from death if you dare touch her. His blade hovered millimeters from the creature's throat as Caedan's stance certainly limited, if not made impossible, escape on the creature's behalf.

Frozen with the speed at which everything was happening, Nereis stood stock still as she exhaled slowly, the feel of the claw pressed against her skin. She held her breath as she leaned away from the claw, the sudden attack by Akira causing her to flinch and jerk away from the claw.

“Hotaka!”

River growled at the elf, and grabbed his blade in her mouth, her fangs leaving holes in the metal. She growled again, and said back, around the blade, "I need blood to survive, Elf, something you do not understand, damn leaf-eater!" She disappeared, and reappeared behind Hotaka, and bit him, her fangs going deep.

Akira gasped and slammed his blade into her stomach and ripped her mouth off his neck quite quickly and jumps away some what landing on his bed and holding his neck now instead of his stomach he glared daggers.

Caedan chuckled as she attempted to bite into his sword, slamming the vampire into the ground and pinning her quite effectively with his knees and one arm as he held the point of his blade at her throat with his free hand. "I'll kill you just as quickly as the next damn leech. Don't even think about moving, or I'll see you ashed." he threatened lowly and lethally, his eyes blazing as his assassin's garb drew in the light's heat. The heat from his garb slowly burning the creature's skin the longer he pinned the creature down.

Nereis stumbled towards Akira quickly, looking over her shoulder to Caeden, both surprised and worried to see him here. Glancing back to Akira, she examined the wound on his neck, then the wound on his stomach, adjusting herself so she was in front of the man

“Hotaka, keep pressure on both wounds.” she spoke harshly as she watched the woman there, her own breath quickening a notch. “Caeden, what… is that…?”

River shifted back, tears in her eyes. She looked at the elf, and said, "Go ahead. Please. I can't hunt successfully anyway. I have been starving for a week now. I smelled human blood, I went for it. I didn't mean to hurt yours..." She looked at the elf, her eyes green, and her face set. She was ready.

Akira did as he was told holding both wounds with his eyes closed his body shaking lightly. He hated being used for food, Akira remained silent as he glanced to Nereis then to the guy who is holding the girl down and he glared faintly looking away. It was obvious he was in pain.

Keeping a calm composure as he pinned down the hybrid, Caedan shook his head. His eyes remained trained on Nereis as he watched her cross the room and deliver orders to the other male in the room. Never once, however, did his concentration break in keeping the beast pinned. "I won't kill you without a reason," he spoke quietly to the hybrid at last, bringing his gaze back down the girl. "So the simple solution to living is to not give me a reason. Just be still." As well, she's not mine, he thought, paying little attention to Nereis' own question. Heat continued to accumulate in his suit, pressing hard onto the creature's flesh. For a moment, he felt pity before he cast it aside, eyes hardening. When it came to Nereis and her safety, he had little margin to be merciful with.

Deftly, Nereis edged herself back slightly, her gaze never once pulling away from the creature Caeden had pinned beneath him. It was not a pleasing sight, nor was it an abhorrence, simply… karma in the works with Caeden as the catalyst.

“Tunnel vision? Ah-” She growled in a hushed drone as she fought back the urge to submit her consciousness. Akira was injured and Caeden could not be injured. The girl was of no importance to her, merely a shadow in the room.

River looked at Akira, and used fire to cauterize his wounds, but not to burn him, "I promise not to hunt them ever again, I changed my mind, I want to live, great Elf, please! I just found a brother I didn't know I had, I have never had a family, please, please take pity on my split soul... I am a hunter through and through, buti promise not to hunt them ever again if you just let me live!" She pleaded with her eyes, tears falling down to the ground.

Akira frowned not liking to be here and he sighed looking to Nereis some what concerned for her. He sighed and looked to the corner of the room not wanting to see any blood shed even though he had just got hurt moments ago. Akira frowned he had something to tell his friends on the phone.

Caedan nodded as he spoke bluntly. "Touch her again, and I'll see you gone from this world. If you truly have something to live for, act like it. Treat those with mercy who have done so to you." He stood off of her and stood slightly in front of Nereis, but more to her side. "There's plenty of blood in the right places to be found in small amounts at a time if you learn to respect nature. I'm sure you'll find some creatures more than willing if you treat them with kindness as you take your fill." he finished, turning his full attention now to Nereis, quickly glancing over her body to check for wounds and finding a few marks. Caedan frowned now, and spoke softly. "Are you alright, Nori?" he asked with a hint of care in his tone that was not there as he dealt with the creature.

“They are just scratches. I am fine, Caedan.” Blinking away the urge to give in to the sweet drug of unconsciousness, she looked down to avoid the unnaturally icy stare he always held. It was a surprise that Caedan was there, admittedly. As Nereis turned her body back to face Akira, she looked over his two wounds and then began walking a little incoherently, in search for a first aid kit.

“Hotaka, how deep are the injuries?” she asked, her deep, carmine eyes flickering up towards Caedan.

He frowned slightly, his eyes having caught bruises reminiscent of someone grabbing her body, but he ignored this for now, choosing to help the injured instead as it was of higher priority than his feelings as of this moment. Caedan moved his hands over the wounds, feeling the energy of them for pain and severity, and as Nereis had her body turned to look for a first aid kid, he forced the man's natural energies to the spot of the wound, causing it to heal rapidly, but naturally, simply speeding up the process that would leave far less severe scarring than it would've by more natural and timely means. "The wounds aren't too bad. He's healing already." Caedan mumbled as he glanced to Nereis' eyes, his own softening a bit subconsciously, and strangely, for him.

Akira looked to Nereis for he didn't want her to worry to much. "I'm fine, even my wounds are healing" Akira lightly smirked as he closes his eyes showing the he is fine even though it hurt like heck getting them. He knew now that he would always have to be careful, Akira also didn't doubt their were demons around for his friend Masa was a demon but Nereis didn't believe them and thus he would pretend not to know them. It was complicated sure, but he wanted to do it to make Nereis some what happy.

“That’s always good to hear, but we should keep them wrapped up a little, so they don’t catch an infection.” Nereis’ gaze averted itself away from Caedan and back to Akira as she walked back with simple bandaging and gauze. Her expression was somber and hearing her injured friend’s optimistic words stung her a little bit; he only got injured because she was careless to not notice the person would follow her. Let alone… eat her? The thought of such mentally disturbed people around her sent a shiver up her spine and out of her mouth in a chilling breath, her eyes immediately downcast.

“Eating a being, a great… elf… a split soul, never hunting us again… what.” Her mind began buzzing with the jumbled pieces; it provoked her enough to groan softly in retaliation.

Akira smirked faintly. "I'm sorry, Nereis" Akira looked down faintly toward his bed with a expression filled of hurt. He liked the fact that she was caring about his wounds and all but he wasn't such a great help, the man named Caedan did most of the beating while Akira was standing looking like a idiot. He couldn't even beat her out of his apartment.

Hearing Akira’s voice brought Nereis out of her spell as she smiled slightly and sat down at the edge of the bed, placing a hand on the top of his head gently.

“I should be the one apologizing. I put us in danger. I am sorry, Hotaka.” Her tone was thoughtful and sincere as her hand lowered back into her lap, her gaze never faltering from her friend’s. Caeden had some explaining to do.

Akira laughed with his eyes closed. "Hey, its alright. Anything for you, Nereis!" He laughed a little weakly as he looks to her, Akira didn't like to see his friends sad and or hurt. Akira was fine if he got hurt as long as she wasn't hurt that was okay with him.

Akira was laying alone in his room, the events replaying in his head as he had bandages on his wounds. I mean sure they weren't hurting anymore, but they were annoying scars especially his stomach. Akira sighed feeling well horrible, everything was so majorly wrong now and he hadn't seen Masa in a few days or even since a while. Akira sat up from his bed, his white bed wear limply hanging from his chest as he looked to the door. Should he go out at this time? He should. After all laying here with many things going through his head wasn't going to help any.

He softly stood up not at all minding his white sleeping wear was hanging a bit so you could see his right shoulder, Akira stretched but shivered due to the sudden change in the room. Akira walked over to his folded clothes that were washed and now freshly cleaned and he placed them on with a blank expression. Sitting on his bed, he picked up his one strapped traveling bag and placed items like two bottles of water and a first aid kit, a lunch that he made on his own and some other items he may need and standing up he placed it on his back and slipping on his shoes he looked to the clock silently before exiting his dorm. Closing the door on the way out he locked it and walked off with his eyes on the floor, Akira had some thinking to do and getting some fresh air may help with that.
