"Chance of mate slim. Lost in this area away from old home. Mother and brothers and sisters all gone, dead or lost. No kitsune answers call when I call so no kitsunes are in the area besides myself. I am alone." She said then blinked a bit. "Mother gave me name that amazon translate to Kida. All call me Kida now." she added though her ears flicked at his last question. "Not much to know." she said simply. She was a hunter. She didn't pass out a lot about herself too often. She already had given out a lot in some cases.

"then i will be your mate" he said to her he wanted her to feel like she was not alone anymore "i will be with you Kida" he said to her as he sat there on the ground in front of her He then held his hand out to her to offer his hand as he did he smiled at her

Her teal eyes sharpened a bit as they narrowed, a fox like growl emitting from her for a moment. "Mates are serious. I will not be with someone who will freely choose it so easily to a stranger." she said sternly. She did not take his hand. Kida continued to look straight at him, her tail curved up.

"then what will it take to be your mate?" he ask her as he watch her tail curl up and he pulled his hand back he was serious about being her mate and he wanted to be there for her "i will do anything" he said looking at her

"I spent years with amazons. Mate is not current concern." she said with the same look. "I meet you and on first day you want commitment. Human not only insensitive but apparently stupid. Bindings of mate made when love or kits are needed. I have lived going on three thousand years and I still have one tail. Human life very short to mine. Even if love was to somehow be there it would not only end in heartbreak later but it would happen far later, not on first meet." she said and crossed her arms. His consistence of trying to be her mate only made her more stubborn for him not to.

"you said your self that no one answers your call you must be lonely if your Mother and brothers and sisters are no wear to be found stay with me at least then you wont be lonely and it give us a chance to bet to know one another better" he said to her he only wanted her not to be lonely

"You think I call for I am lonely? I have the animals around me whom I can still speak to. I call out to the night to see if other kitsunes have found there way here. Kitsunes are nearly extinct from being hunted for fur. I cry out to wait and hear if a cry answers or not. I like the cave in which I sleep and I handle myself fine. If you want to know more of me then you are free to be in my company but I will not answer ever question and I will not take only questions nor will I ask unless I decide to. You must give unasked questions answers if you want answers. You may be kind but you cannot fool a kitsune's nose, I can smell the scent of many woman around, some scents older than others." She said as she stretched her arms out and laid down on the ground.

"Going after every woman you see is not good way of finding love. You find no one without learning all you can from them." she said as she folded her arms and laid her head on them, still laying on the ground as her tail flicked.

Kida watched him for a moment before getting up and transforming back into her fox form before she ran off out of the plains while he slept.
