Spiders Walk

This walkway leads from the Spooky trails down into a cave filled with all kinds of deadly spiders.

It stopped raining. The wind started to blow very hard as the dark figure runs down the path to the cave,moving in a fast rate. Kage was only a few steps behind it. "Where the hell is it going..." Thinking his white eye struggled to look as he uses his increased speed and hearing to catch up with the dark figure,it turned around looking towards me while it was running,it seamed like it wanted me to follow.

Moments later it entered in a dark cave. Kage runs in the cave not thinking what is inside. Seeing two ways left and right. The dark figure went left so he followed it. Noticing light entering from the cracks on the caves walls,not noticing the big webs,Kage continued to follow the dark figure.

Couple of minutes later,turning left and right,into various of ways,he saw a skeleton. The dark figure went in the skeleton. He stopped next to the skeleton,seeing a backpack next to it. Kage crouched and took the backpack,hearing strange insect sounds behind him.Kage quickly takes a flare gun from his backpack.*I was starting to think I would never use this...* He aims at the skeleton and fires. The skeleton started to burn and became ash in a few seconds. *One down... Another one to go...* Starts to walk out of the cave,but it seems that he is lost... He walks in different ways trying to get out,hearing a scary sound of big bugs tapping the ground...

*It's official... I'm lost...* Kage looks at the ground trying to remember where he went or to see some tracks... yet nothing... It was like he never entered the cave. He sees a big rock next to the wall and sits on it. *This day can't get any worse...Can it?* Something similar to water falls on his shoulder. He touches it noticing that it wasn't water or some familiar liquid. Looking up he sees a black spider with red markings on its face,drooling.*Just like in the movies...* He jumps forward running through some tunnels as the spider follows him.

Couple of hours latter...

Kage tripped on something falling down. *Damn...* He gets up quickly as the spider calls his friends.They jump towards Kage,but he cleverly jumps forward avoiding that, hitting another spider that he didn't notice.He flew back falling down on the ground as the spider turns and with it's leg goes through his left arm. Not feeling a thing,Kage quickly kicks the spider making it move a few steps backward allowing him to stand up and start running. His arm started bleeding,but he doesn't notice it and continues running,leaving behind a blood trail.

After a couple of hours running in circles, Kage notices that there is a narrow way next to him.
He walks through that narrow way hopping that it's the way out.

Walking through the narrow path noticing light, Kage starts running towards the end.
Finally he exits the cave. Looking at his left arm noticing blood. *Better get this cleaned...*

Walks away...

F'ral left cut marks, and places where entire trees fell down along the way to wherever he was going. He didn't know where, just away from that classroom, and away from Evangeline. He couldn't stand being near that class. Potions were his worst thing, and they seemed to know that.

Evangeline walked very silently behind F'ral, literally about 3 feet behind him, watching him destroy the tree's. Every time he would look to the sides Evangeline would jump into one of the tree's to the opposite side to stay out of sight of F'ral. She would give off a dark grin as she watched him and jumped from tree to tree to stay on his trail.

F'ral growled, "Stop following me, Evangeline, and leave me alone!" He disappeared from sight, and stayed very still, melted into the shadow of one of the trees.

Evangeline dropped down from a tree where she was standing high up off the ground. When she landed, she landed right in front of where she could hear his heartbeat.Awe come now. You don't really think you can hide that easily from me, do you?"She asked as she straightened her legs and looked right at him.

F'ral stood up, and glared at her, eyes nearing crimson, "Great, so not only do you want to outdo me in class, but you feel the need to outdo me at my own thing. Stealth is all I have, Evangeline. I am not good a potions, I am not good at Magic, beyond my own element, I only have stealth." He shook his head, and punched a flying bird as it tried to past him.

Evangeline stopped his fist before he had hit the flying animal. "Dont do that. And I am sure that stealth isnt the only think are you good at. And I did not want to out do you, nor do I feel the need to out do you at your own thing. It is not my fault that I can hear your heartbeat, F'ral."She said as she threw his fost down and walked away from him into another direction, walking around several trees and big rocks as well, avoiding spiders.

F'ral growled at her, unsure of what to do, and yelled into the trees in some animalistic roar. Chasing after her, his eyes bright crimson, he got in front of her, and said, "You had a reason for following me, didn't you?"

Evangeline looked at him as he stood in front of her. Her bright blue eyes pierced right though F'ral, or so it seemed. "Maybe I did, then a again maybe I didn't. Why does it matter to you?"Evangeline told him as her blue eyes began to darken a bit due to F'ral's anger.

F'ral sighed, and tried to cool his anger. Outwardly, everything but his eyes seemed to let go of it, "I'm sorry, Evangeline. This was uncalled for. I don't do well in schools, I haven't been to one before, so... yeah. I learned all I could from the M'Laniri, and from whatever Hunter seemed to be friendly, but other than that, schools have always been just out of reach... I'm sorry for blowing up at you." His eyes retained the crimson color, but he hoped he seemed genuinely apologetic. He was, but he wanted her to know that.

Evangeline continued to look at f'ral thenn spoke in her calm voice. "I accept your apology. And I expect you to go back to that class room and apologize to Ceres and re-do the potion, not in a hurry or in a bad mood either."She told him as she folded her arms over her chest.

F'ral looked away, eyes turning purple, "I can't do that. I did the potion, and got it right. I go back day after tomorrow. For now, I will do something else..." He sighed, and sat on the tree stump he made.

Evangeline narrowed her blue eyes to him. "When you go back, I want you, to apologize and re-do the spell at least."Evangeline said to him as she began walking around, still avoiding the spiders. She truely hated spiders, they were always so creepy and crawly, gave her goosebumps just thinking about it.

F'ral growled, and caught on of the spiders by its torso, and threw it at another one, causing a stampede of small furry insects. He laughed for the first time that day, and began to slice them to pieces with his daggers. Then he saw some new weapons; a pair of claws.

Evangeline jumped up into a tree very quickly once she had seen all of the spiders and her eyes widened once she had seen the new weapons. "If any of those spiders touch me, including the pieces of them, I will hurt you soo badly it will hurt for ages."She told him with widened bright blue eyes as her nails gripped onto the bark of the tree she was on and her legs wrapped around the tree trunk.

F'ral jumped over to the claws, and sheathing his daggers, put them on. Slicing through a horde of spiders, he looked at Evangeline. He smiled, and said, "These only require a slight shift in my fighting style, they're amazing!"

Evangeline smiled sarcastically and spoke again. "Yeah thats nice. But like I said. If even pieces of those spiders touch me, i will hurt you."She said again and stayed up on the tree. Her eyes went back to their normal bright blue color and not so wide now as she calmed herself a bit more than what she was before.

F'ral nodded, smiling, "No problem, Evangeline." Was all he said, leaning back on the limb he was sitting on, and falling asleep.

Evangeline growled and dropped down from the tree and landed quietly in front of F'ral. "Well then. Now that you have finally simmered down. I am going to leave now."She said to him as she noticed that he had fallen asleep.

F'ral chuckled, "Thanks for waking me up, Evangeline. I was almost dreaming." He sat up, and hugged her, "You make a good friend."

Evangeline's eyes widened like she had just seen a ghost as he hugged her. "Oh you big baby. And thanks."She said to him with a smile as she hugged him back quickly. "Can you let go of me now??"She asked hesitantly and looking at him.
