"Oh.." Ceres blinked and looked down a bit. It was a little awkward now since Ceres knew Vanessa too. She thought she had been falling for a side, maybe even two of her but then she just suddenly left so Ceres just moved on the best she could from it.

Drina rolled onto her side to get a better look at Ceres as she asked softly, "Ceres....what's wrong...?" She watched her a bit sadly as she seemed down and she reached out and gently touched her face.

"Nothing's wrong Drina. I'm just not sure how to react or say anything about that. It's a bit....I don't know, awkward? Maybe that's a word for it." she guessed and shrugged her shoulders a bit. Ceres had never been too keen on love in the first place after her first love had died so Vanessa's sudden disappearance was a bit of a wound to Ceres's trust and feelings.

Drina blinked a few times and left her hand gently touching Ceres' face, "What's awkward...? I don't understand." She was worried about her friend, and was extremely concerned about her.

"I was...seeing Vanessa. Well I guess not Vanessa herself but a part or two of her...Shade and Lime." she said softly and tucked some of her green hair behind her pointed ear and sighed and put on a smile as she looked at Drina "But they both left me suddenly without a word but I've moved on now." she said with that same smile.

"I don't really think it's awkward....I've noticed that some of her clones are gaining wills of their own....most noticeable is Dark....she worries me sometimes." She sighed a bit and gently touched her forehead to her friend's, "You're such a strong girl..."

"I just wish they would of said something." she said after a moment as she turned her head to look out at the towers. "They're young, even if they wanted to just leave I just wish I had a way of knowing they're at least alright." she said as some window blew her hair and she had to re-tuck it behind her ear.

Drina was quiet for a moment before saying, "Would you like me to ask Dark....? I'm sure she could tell me." She sighed some and looked up to the sky, feeling slightly worried about asking Dark of such a thing, almost worried she might become jealous or something.

"Thank you but you don't have to, I don't want you to go through the trouble. I've dealt with the feeling before. I'll cope with it just as I had then." she said dully as she sighed. She had really started to open up to those two then without a word they were gone just like Soubi, sort of. So just like that first time, she closed off her heart to such deep feelings once more... for now.

Drina shook her head, "Hey.....if it's for you, I'd do anything. I seriously mean anything." She'd even piss off Dark if she had to. What would she do? Cheat on her again? And if it came to that, she would have broken her promise and Drina would have nothing but leave her....she wouldn't even take her hand in a life or death situation like her first day back.

Ceres looked up at Drina and tried to keep her voice even "Could you ask why they left? Or if not just see if they're alright?" she said and swallowed hard, only just noticing the tears that were forming and threatening to fall.

Drina looked at Ceres and smiled sadly as she noticed the tears that were forming and reached out, gently wiping them away before they could spill over, "Of course....like I said, I'd do anything for you."

"I'm sorry to bother you for such a trivial thing I guess it could be called." she said and wiped a bit more at her eyes after Drina had to make sure there were no more tears. "I guess I worry too much... But they were my students, I want to know they are alright, even if all I can be is their teacher."

"You're not bothering me with anything. I want you to be happy. I want that more than anything." She leaned forward and gently kissed Ceres on the forehead, the metal in her lip cold against both their skin, "Why do you feel that all you can be is their teacher?"

Ceres sighed "I'd be surprised if I could even be that. I checked the files and couldn't find any for drop out or transfer. I guess I've guilted myself enough that I could never be much of anything to either of them." she said.

Drina blinked some, "Uh....Ceres....I'm not sure that they're all separate....the all make one person. Though....I've hardly seen them all together, the do all make the one Vanessa....they pretty much represent certain parts of her, though, as I said, from observing them, some of them begin to get their own mind and feelings....that's why I think the two of them went for you." She was explaining everything about Vanessa that she pieced together.

"I know Drina but I never actually spoke with Venessa, not a person as a whole. But I spoke to just the two really though I met others of her. To me though, they were seprete people because of their own feelings so I taught only them. At least that's what I tell myself. I must be strange or maybe I'm not really understanding but it's all I got left really before that empty feeling tries to come. I don't want to feel empty... if only for a little while, I want to live in my own little fantasy." she said and closed her eyes.

Ceres opened her eyes a bit "I have one but I can only seem to find it in my dreams. Which is a problem since I forget some things in my dreams." she said and chuckled a little.

Drina smiled at Ceres, "Well, if you remember those things before you fall asleep, you should try thinking about them before falling asleep. That might help you remember them in your dreams."

Ceres smiled at Drina "Okay, thanks. I'll try that." she said as she smiled. She stretched her arms and took a breath. Too much seriousness or sorrow left her feeling exhausted.

Drina put herself on her side and gently pressed herself against Ceres, mumbling, "I'm tired, Ceres..."

"Me too Drina. Go to sleep" she said and yawned as she closed her eyes, curling up a bit on her side.

Drina cuddled up against Ceres and yawned before closing her eyes and falling asleep pushed up against her friend, her breathing even and relaxed.

Ceres fell asleep against her friend, wondering what the day would bring and thinking of how life could be if things had been different at points in time.
