Bridge

"Brujo eh? Interesting. I've never met one before." She spoke rolling the Rs a bit and this time being aware of her spanish word. She played with the thought a moment.

"I'm a Shape-Shifter, I'm 21, I make the best french toast you will ever eat, and I'm well aware you ignored my last question." She said slower, her accent drifted over her words as she gave him a smile and poked his shoulder.

Laughing a little at her pointing out what he did and poking him. He didn't mean to ignore that question it was just that he wanted to bring the attention on what he was first then answer it later on. "I am from the New Orleans, Louisiana. In the US my accent is widely known throughout that state."

Brushing her hand away he realized very late that she said she was just 21. "You gotta be kidding me. Your really only 21?" He said not believing her at all and putting a lot of emphasis on the only. Because him being how old he was he expected everybody else to be around the same region or higher.

Saphira opened her mouth, but started to smile and she imaged it must have looked stupid.

"Well excuse me blanquito, you look like your 18. Atleast I can get into clubs without being pestered... much." She giggled a bit at the end. She turned her attention on what he had said before. "A brujo from New Orleans? I suppose it's not unheard of, although like I said, you're the first I've meet." She informed him pointing up at his nose. She gave him another smile and stared at his eerie yellow eyes.

His pupils moving to the center of his eyes, eying down her finger which was pointing at his nose. "So I told you where my accent comes from. Where might yours?" He asked her now knowing a few things about her and that she liked to use spanish words a lot, he at least wanted to know where she got it so things can go more smoothly during their time together.

Saphira smiled, brought down her hand, and looked around of her, over the bridge, as if she could see across oceans and forests to see her home country.

"Mexico. I was born near the Mayan temples. And my accent is very common in my country." She said mocking him with a smile on her face. The breeze picked up, flinging her behind her. She closed her eyes and breathed in the cool air.

Looks like they were both from the same general region, just on two corners of the nation. The wind seeming to pick a little blew his hair back, partially undoing the string keeping his hair together.

"So what do you want to do?" His boredom which followed him everywhere, being suppressed while when he first met her started to come back with full force. His head sloping down looking at the lake watching the reflection of Saphira and himself having their talk.

Saphira opened her eyes looked at him. She then followed his gaze to the waters reflection and meet his eyes.

"Well, seeing as how I'm completely new, I don't know vrey many places."She pause she smiled at him in the reflection. "Blanquito, you wanna give me tour of one place? Just uno?" She asked brightly.

Thinking, thinking. Okay after thinking about it for a few seconds he thought it would be fun to guide her around. Lifting his head he turned his body around and stood there looking left for a couple of seconds then right.

"So where would you like to go, first?" He asked letting his gentleman nature come out which only truly showed itself in front of women. Pushing the his jacket back having the appearance that a gust of wind has just hit it he put his hands in the pockets in his pants. Looking at her he waited for her to become ready to go.

"Hmmm.... How about some place with el agua?" Saphira paused, pursing her full lips. "I wanna go swimming, but I'd rather see a view." She clucked her tongue; her tongue ring hitting her teeth lighting with a tink. She started to walk to her right. She looked back over her shoulder and called out;

"I have no idea where I'm going, so feel free to correct me. I just wanna go somewhere with water."

Closing his eyes his mind went into think mode. Where was a good place for some water. "Well the lake might be a good place." He said opening his eyes to the sight of her making him jump a little because for a split second he forgot he was with somebody.

Pushing his body off the railing he stood straight up and began walking off to the lake. Stopping not far from her he turned his head, with his hair flowing out the way he opened his mouth. "You coming or not?" Chuckling under his breath when he said it he turned his head back in the direction of the lake and started to walk off.

Saphira grinned and nodded. She ran to him and playfully bumbed her shoulder into his arm.

"You were just plannin' on leavin me like that? Gosh, brujos are mean huh?" Saphira asked purposely using her thick accent. She gave him a wink and smile. Her hair swayed behind her and hips rocked side to side, her footsteps barely making a sound on the cobblestone.

Keep walking looking at her with a smirk getting some enjoyment out of her reaction. "No I figured you were coming no matter what." He said walking along side her his jacket blowing along the wind with his hair right above it blowing with it.

"Ah, well, then I suppose brujos are smarter than shifter, si?" She said sarcastically and with an eye-roll, however a smile played on her full lips. The wind kept blowing and she noticed something, reaching up to his shoulder and lightly pulled on his ponytail.

"Is this the style in New Orleans? A ponytail?" She asked, pierced perfectky eyebrow raised and a smirk on her lips as she playfully toyed with it, twirling it round and round, around her index finger and thumb. "And I thought only chicas wore them."

His annoyance rose quickly. Not because she asked why he had a ponytail but for the fact that she was messing with it while they walked and to him that was insulting. "No this isn't the style in New Orleans." He responded arrogantly and matching her sarcasm with his own, his obviously being more because of his arrogance.

Grabbing his hair and yanking it away from her throwing it over his shoulder so she would have to most likely stop him so she can continue playing with it. His eyes going from their usual not-caring appearance to a cold stare he glared at her through the corner of his eye, but only for a split second hoping she wouldn't notice so he can get in a kill glance. "Yes this maybe the worn by women but with my long hair this is the best way to wear it." He said with each step he made his hair bumping back into its original position along his back.

Saphira let out a little giggle, completely unfased.

"Ha, someone's a little perra. Ah well, perhaps we all have our, uh," Saphira rolled her Rs and struggled a second before continueing. "pet-peevs." She finished the sentence by sticking her tongue, the saying on her tongue ring seemed funny at the moment "Eat Me". Considering he gave her a look that stated clearly that he wanted to harm her. She smiled and looked ahead letting the wind blow her hair over both of her shoulders and the frabic of her cut-off wife-beater whistle quietly with the wind.

"Just don't touch my hair." He said trying to let her know that he didn't mean to come off impulsive but needed to let her know that nobody touches the hair, no matter what. The wind was picking up blowing his hair and jacket behind him.

Walking along he could feel the humidity in the air decreasing with every step he took. Smelling the air the strong scent of rain started to envelope the area even though the sun was still up in the air being blocked by nothing giving no reason for this feeling. "I think its about to rain." He said stopping in his tracks putting all the signs together and now certain that rains was going to come. Looking at her he was wondering if she still wanted to go to the lake or wanted to find a place to stay before rain started.

"What? Brujo scared of getting a little wet?" Saphira teased him, bumping her elbow into his then returning it quickly by her side. She closed her eyes a moment, and inhaled the scent that surrounded them. She loved how it smelled before a fresh shower. It was so serene and new. She opened her eyes and smiled up at Seikatsu. "If you'd rather go somewhere else or just part-ways, that's fine by me." The wind swayed her hair into her eyes as she waited on him to decide.

He was getting really sick of all her spanish terms because he didn't know whether she was insulting him or not. Getting irritated at the way she was looking at him seeming as if was just in the happiest mood in the world he let out a sigh and guided his hands through his long blue hair. "I will spend more time with you because I will just end up going to sleep if I am left alone." The wind picking up guiding his hair with it almost entirely taking his jacket off his shoulders. Turning his eyes to her, he didn't really care anymore about being with her he just didn't want to sleep during the rain.

"Hmmm... Alright Brujo, I can tell you're not in the most delightful moods, so I'll just tone down my mood. Si?" Her accent danced off her tongue and she gave him a small smile. He definately wasn't someone she would hang out with on a daily basis. They had conflicting personalities obviously, however, regardless of that, she oddly enjoyed his company.

"Oh, I must apolagize for my spanish language, sometimes I forget I'm the only one that really understands the language. Brujo is the spanish term for wizard. Just thought I'd let you know." She looked ahead and then a thought accurd to her.

"Ya know, you're attire is about to take on a mind of it's own and detatch itself from you." She said with a small smile as she pointed at his torso. At moment later, she belly shirt flew up to just under her breasts. She glared at it and brought it down, just so it could inch it's way up again. Rolling her eyes straightened it and didn't bother with it again as her hair flew around her face, shoulders, and across her collar bone.

That actually made more sense then taking it as an insult. His attention being drawn to his jacket which she told him was fixing to fly off at any moment now he put his hands through its sleeves instead of just letting it flow freely along his shoulders. "Thanks for that. Sometimes I forget its even there." He said now with his jacket fully on for the first time in about forever.

Looking at her for only a split second he saw her shirt go up revealing her stomach. It was much of nothing to him and he quickly forgot about the image and went back to talking. "So lets go to the lake." He said now feeling that he owed it to her for putting up with his attitude.

Saphira nodded. She slowed her steps a moment so he could be one step ahead of her, sense she had no idea where to go. She eyed Seikatsu a moment.

"Gracias... Thank you." She said slowly. Her eyebrows knit together as if she was trying to figure something out. She turned her gaze ahead as her hair blew in glossy waves behind her and the fabric of her clothing flipped quietly.

Starting to walk again he was going in the direction of the lake and was hoping that she was behind him again. This time being nice he stopped and looked at her smiling a little."You coming or not?" Keeping his smile he started to walk off again slowly so she can keep up.

Saphira couldn't help but blink in utter shock. Seikatsu smiled...? That brujo actually turned up his lips to smile at her. Smiling a little herself, she jogged a bit to catch up. She clasped her hands behind her back and bent forward a bit to peer up at the smile that still lingered on his lips. A small smile playing on her lips, she cocked her pierced eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"Is that an actualy smile?" Saphira asked pointing at his lips in a jokingly. She brought herself upright and stared forward, her own smile lingering on her pink lips. "Never would have thought you'd direct a smile at me." She teased in a friendly tone, as she stole a few side glances at him.

She looked surprised at his smile, even though he couldn't put it past her most people that know him know that he doesn't smile or show any other kind of emotion even close to making him show a smile. It was kinda of funny actually her reaction was priceless and caused him to start laughing out loud for a few minutes. Opening his eyes from the forced laughter he looked at her with his piercing yellow eyes that usually say kill you on the stop, but now they were just letting out signs of enjoyment.

"Yes its a smile and eh I guess the smell of rain is putting me in a good mood." Shrugging his shoulders in between his sentence knowing that just being around him smiling must be putting her in a weird position right now.

Her smile widened, she couldn't help it.

"And I get a laugh? Wow, I have to wonder how many people get to witness this in their lives." She said in a friendly teasing manner. She stuck out her tongue.
Hmmm... Perhaps this brujo isn't sooo bad. He's actually kind of... She smiled up at him and stared into his strangely colored orbs.

"So!" She began, clapping her hands infront of her chest. "Exactly where is it you plan on taking me, huh, Brujo?" She asked smiling up at him.
