A Waterfall

"Yeah, sorry 'bout that, I wasjust so shocked I didn't know what else to do."
*Scratches the back of her head sweatdropping*

Ceres smiled "Well then I suppose I'd have to say it's fine" she said.

*Smiling again she looks over the academy*
"It's so pretty up here. You know, I guess you could call it some what of a contradiction that I'm out here."
*Laughs at herself.*

"What do you mean?" she asked, tilting her head a bit.

"Well, you see I'm a vampire. And you know how it goes, we go in the sun we burn to ashes and blah, blah, blah."

"I've wondered about that. Who decided that vampires should burn in the sun? Who decides who is exiled from their town, village or city for being different? Who pulls the strings to make a parent leave their child behind?" she said, not really asking her but speaking her thoughts. "I've wondered about these.....especially about....who decides when a life must end......a single being can't do that.....a single being shouldn't"

*nods*
"I know what you mean, especially the parents abbandoning a child part."

"I especially express that part" she said then sighed. But if it would have never happened....I would have never lived in the village that resented me....I would have never met Soubi....my savor....my master.......my love....but also.......he wouldn't have never died if my parents had kept me.

"Life is a mystery huh? One moment were here, then next were gone. Who knows what's really beyond the horizon, is there salvation or just purgatory?"

Ceres sighed and nodded her head, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, I know how being abandonded feels. I never even knew my parents. They just left me by a river, only three days old..."

Ceres opened her eyes half way having closed them previously. She was looking down so her expression was different this time. More of distant and lonely. I know the feeling she thought.

"All I've known is my foster father... I wish I atleast knew what my parents looked like..."

Ceres looked up at her "What would....you say to them if you were ever able to meet them?" she asked.

"I'm not sure, I've never thought about it. I mean, I don't even know how to react, I'm not really mad they must've had good reason to leave me. They wouldn't abandon their three day old duaghter without some sort of reason."

"Would a parent have a reason to abandon a new born then?" she thought quietly out loud.

*She opens her mouth to answer but then thinks. Why would htey abondon her at such a very very tender age. After this she closes her mouth again*

"Did you want to say something?" she asked.

"Not really."

"Alright then" she sighed and walked along the very edge of the waterfall easily.

*Airen stands too, and look sodwn smiling*
"Hey, you ever cliff dive before?"

"Hmmm yes, though my first experience of it was not thrilling since I hadn't really meant to so that was more of a fall" she said, thinking back.

"Well, what do you say we do it now? The water below look sdeep enough."
*She runs back about ten feet.*

Ceres smiled but didn't run back, just jumping high into the air with a flip and diving down the length of the waterfall and into the water below.

*giggling she runs forward and jumps into the air in an almost flying position. Turning over in the air, she land in the water with her hand above her head.*
