Personality: Elija has a a somewhat decently nice attitude towards others, that is, until someone pisses her off. When Elija is angry, her anger pretty much takes over unless there is someone there with her that can calm her down in time so she does not hurt anyone. At times Elija can be pretty stable with her emotions, as in she can mostly control them while she is somewhere by herself and calm.

History: Elija Mae Black was born as a normal baby by a strike of lightning that had hit Jamaica 19 years ago. She was found by a jamaican woman who was pretty old about in her 80's. When the woman found Elija, she named her Elija Mae Black, she thought that the name suited the baby very well. When Elija turned 1, the woman noticed something strange about Elija, she noticed that her eyes would change color every time she would get upset, her eyes would turn a white color. So the woman took Elija to the doctor to see why this was happening, and the doctor just told her that it was a natural thing. And when the woman took Elija back to her home, she noticed another thing that was strange about Elija, she had something poking out of her shoulder blades, not knowing what it was, the woman took Elija back to the doctors again to see what it was a few days later, the doctors had never seen anything like it before and wanted to do tests on Elija, the woman refused to let them test her. And before the doctors in the hospital could do anything else, the woman ran off with Elija and went back to her home and stayed there in hiding to keep Elija away from all harm.
Elija and the old woman hid in a nicely hidden hut that was out in the woods where no one could find them. When Elija turned 6, her wings finally started to come out and that was when the old woman finalyl realized what Elija was, she was an angel, and a very pretty one at that. About a few months after Elija's 7th birthday, the old woman died of old age, it broke Elija's little heart. But before the old woman died, she told Elija to get as far away from this place as she could with her little wings. And when she did die, Elija did exactly what she was told to do. What Elija did for the next 12 years, all Elija did was train by herself with weapons, her newly discovered power and nothing else besides fighting styles. As she turned 18 she heard that there was a safer place for beings like herself from a demon like creature that she met one day when flying around high in the sky. The demon told her where to go withh all sorts of directions that she was rather thankful for. Elija and the demon parted ways, the demon went in the direction she was leaving from and Elija headed towards the way that the demon was going, following every direction precisley. This safer place was called Vampire Academy, apparently it had many people there as well as different races. It took her a year to find this place, and when she did finally find it, she felt better about being out in public.
