Description: When finally getting the nightmare from a person or opponent, Masa will then have to eat it. When he consumed it fully, swallowing and all that, the nightmare will take time to form and such. So, when it develops, the nightmare comes out through his mouth. Here, Masa could control what the nightmare will do, whether it stops or drops.
Disadvantages:

► Leaves a nasty aftertaste when it gets out (a very nasty aftertaste)
► Depending on how big and strong (and sometimes gory) the nightmare is, it will take time. Who knows what happen between that time?
► Might give him stomachaches

Description: It's a feature that his cane has to help him with his nightmares. He turns the area -at least a 3 or 4 mile radius or less- into a black pit of nothingness. The person, or people, inside this couldn't see anything. Here, this is Masa's domain and he controls the strings basically. Inside, you would see nothingness. Just black, darkness. It helps create a background for the nightmares that Masa created. (I mean, if you have a happy go lucky background full of sparkles and sunshine, how is that going to help? xD) Masa does, in fact, controls what the person see here. Like if there was a tree that was originally suppose to be there, he can make that appear. Or if there is another opponent together, he could get them to see each other. It depends on the surrounding.
Disadvantages:

► Not only the opponent couldn't see anything, but Masa couldn't see anything either. He could only either sense where his opponents are. He's also liable to run into a tree or trip on a rock or something.
► Light can penetrate the darkness. Fire can only partly to around your area.
► Still can use senses like hearing or smelling
