"Nice. Armani?"

Steps into the grand hall of the academy and looks around with a wide eye. Dodging all the people moving about for a party... or something. Still holding the only three bags that held all that she owned.
Tessa was amazed they would send her to a school like this.... yet she was still more amazed to still be in school.
Sighing she went looking for the admissions office, to go and check in.

River smiled, looking at the girl from behind a wall, "I would turn left down that hallway, or you might end up in the gym, fresh meat." She said, kindly.

Hearing the words, Tessa almost jumped but just turned around to look at the person behind her.
" Thanks... and that's what they think of me at every school, fresh meat...well dinner's served." she told the girl before heading down the left hall as she said.

River smirked, and followed the girl. After a bit, she said, "Well, you know, if I knew your name, I wouldn't call you that. I'm River." She smiled, and made a small stream of purple fire go onto the girls shoe, without burning it.

" My name's Tessa." she told the girl as she watched her send purple fire into her shoe. Smirking Tessa looked up at the girl and just stopped it out.
" Nice flame... but I don't think you should do that .... unless you mean it." she told her as she tried to take Marcus's words to heart....[i]" don't let them get to you on the first day... you will like there I swear."

Balling her fists up around her bags, she head down the hall hoping to see a door sign for an office or something. Because if she didn't she was going let her anger have its way.

River smiled, and hugged the girl, "Trust me, you'll like it here, if you make friends with the right people. Ren, my half brother, Selvina, Inoto, Elena, and a few others are some good people you might want to meet, Tess. But, other than that, the only thing you gotta watch out for is me when I haven't hunted for a bit, and the Vamps." She laughed, teasing about herself, but not the last bit.

" So I am not the only witch around here, good to know. But I am not so scared of a vampire... I think they seem rather fun." I tell her as I let several wicked idea run through my mind. " Also glad to meet you and... just one thing never call me tess, you can call me Lock." I tell you before dropping one of my bags to extend my open hand to her.

River smirked, and said, "Gotcha Lock. Anyway, I think we could be good friends, and by the way, I like your hair, it is super cute!" She smiled, and began to twirl her own long hair, wishing it were short.

" Thanks. Its alot easier to handle short." I tell her," So is that office really down this way... or where you just sizing me up?"

River smiled, and pointed to a door on her left, and said, "It isn't open 'till 'round six tonight. Sometimes later. The Secretary is a vamp." She smiled, and said, "And, I have to admit, you are hot. Me, guys fear me too much to try that..."

" I'm just a tom boy.. I doubt I'm hot..besides when I'm dealing with fire." I tell you as I Sit my other bag down.
" So what is there to do around here until the sun goes down and the teachers come out?" I ask her.

River smiled, and came out of staring at Tessa, "Oh! You mean other than stare at your hotness. Um... I don't quite know."

" I am starting to think you have a crush on me. That's cute.. but I like guys. " I tell you with a smile as I lean back against the wall near the door.
" Still I was serious there has to be something fun to do around here or am I going to have to make my own fun."

River grinned at the other girl, and made purple fire sprout from nowhere, "Then make your own fun."

" I will but would it be okay if i stashed my things in your room until I take to the vampires in charge? I don't want people to go through my things and I plan on it... so how far is the closest town from here. Also what time is here... I never pack a watch." Tessa told River as she smirked at the girl's fire ball.

River smiled, and said, "The closest town is just at the base of the mountain that the school sits on, the time is about noon, and as for stashing your stuff in my room, I was just about to apply for a room."

" That's great so you don't have a room either." I say to you as I sigh and lean back against the wall.
" This will be fun, to wait for the teachers to wake up and get school started.

After thinking it over, Tessa just carried her bags back to the front and hide them in a bush until later. Then after looking around town came back, hoping to find the teachers office open so she could get her room and her classes before they all went back to bed.
