Woods' Sacred Tree House

The spirits of the woods Sacred Tree House, where they go to praise their master.

Inoto looked at her, "Daemon, that is the first bit of sense you have made today." He laughed.

Kira smiled a bit.
"I'm a follower of chaos, I am not meant to make sense", she said.

Inoto chuckled, and said, "True." Then went back to thinking, and took down the barrier.

Kira turned and looked down from the edge of the house not getting too close. Maybe if she did the guy would put the barrier up again and she would be irritated.

Inoto sighed, and said, "If you wish, and promise not to cause chaos, you may enter." He smiled, bowed, and waved his hand.

Kira looked back at him with a smirk.
"I wont cause chaos. Not now. I need to learn from this place", she said.

Inoto chuckled, and said, "Learning is what its here for... Well, besides my races inability to think for themselves, and their need for a master." He said, his eyes downcast.

Kira blinked.
That is ridiculous! The very thought irritates me, she thought, thinking about a race without mind of their own.

Inoto chuckled at her reaction, he said, "I think on my own, and do what I need to survive, my people however... They are a different story."

"My convoy was trained separately, each with different skills and weapons, and fighting styles. Each with a different purpose. But we all worked as one", she said smirking.
"Just like an organism".

Inoto came back to the Tree house, and smiled, looking at small inches of dust that had settled.

Caedan walked through the forest's tree branches, leaping down silently onto the wooden deck that was the treehouse. He wandered slowly around the area, glancing with his aqua eyes to the doorways and the surrounding area to be sure of no threats. He passed into the treehouse and his eyes caught sight of the other elf. Caedan's body immediately tensed as he slowly made his way around the edge of the room carefully eying the other. Gah! Already a stranger. And in the first place here, too.

Inoto heard the elf, and smiled, speaking in his native tongue, he said, "Welcome, Brother, how are you today?" He turned slowly, hoping not to startle the other, and stayed where he was in the middle of the room.

Caedan's aqua eyes narrowed the tiniest bit as he was still suspicious of the stranger, elven or not. Although the latter didn't hurt his chances of having a decent conversation. "Welcome to where, exactly?" Caedan asked quietly, unwilling yet, to say much about himself as he brought his body to a complete standstill, awaiting the answer to his question.

Inoto smiled, noting the boys skittishness, "This is the Sacred Tree House, boy. For the elves, this is holy territory." He smiled again, his light green eyes looking at the others aqua eyes with friendliness.

"Right.." Caedan answered lowly as he sat down on the ground cross-legged in one fluid movement. "Thank you, then. For the welcome." he said lowly as he glanced around the room trying to figure out what it was that made this place holy. He avoided the other's eyes as he knew naught of him. His energy flow made him seem cordial enough, but chi could always be deceiving.

Inoto smiled a bit, and said, "I am entering my last century on this world. I don't have time to waste on petty hate, if you want to make that time shorter on distrust, go ahead. I would not fault you for it, boy." He smirked a bit, and pressed a secret panel, making a secret statue pop up.

"Don't take it personally, Pops." Caedan said lowly. "I don't trust anyone, really. It's not in my nature. Especially not right off the bat." he continued. Caedan turned his aqua eyes on the statue and raised an eyebrow. What in the world.. he thought to himself.

Inoto laughed, "Pops! Thats a new one." He sat down, and said, "Thats a statue of the goddess. She raised us from the ground up, and made us what we are today."

Caedan looked up a little surprised to see a laugh at what he was used to being reprimand. "I..guess." he said a little less tense than before. "Goddess huh? I pretty much raised myself, but it's nice to know someone helped." Caedan answered with a little interest, still looking at the statue closely from his seated position.

Inoto smiled, and looked at the boy, looking through him almost. His eyes turned from Green to yellow, and he said, "I really think you would like people, if you met the right ones. There is Seth Littlewolf, he is an Angel, Aiyana, she is a M'Laniri, F'ral, a hunter M'laniri hybrid, and a few others, but they are good people to know."

Caedan shook his head slowly. "I disagree. I may like a few more people, but never will I like people as a whole.. Because no matter how many good I find, there will always be more bad than good in this world, and every other. It's perhaps the will of the goddess for me to have few friends, and remain as independent as possible." he answered fluidly in native tongue. "But thank you for your concern, Pops. I may give these people you've mentioned a bit less of a cold shoulder for your vouching." Caedan said lowly once more as he went back to examining the statue.

Inoto chuckled, and picked up a scroll, tossing it to Caedan, he said, "That's the story of the goddess, young one. Read it, and learn it.

Caedan's hand shot up and caught the scroll without his eyes wavering. "Thank you. If there's one thing I do like, it's reading and learning." he said, standing. "Thanks, Pops. I'll maybe see you around." Caedan said in farewell, quickly and silently disappearing into the treetops.
