River looked at him, and her eyes turned black, "Ren, if you shift, I will throw you through a wall. Thats a promise, and you know I can." She sighed, and said, "I wasn't taught to be anything, only that family meant nothing... I have found otherwise, Ren... I have a family now."

Ren smiled helplessly and looked at her, his body still shaking slightly. Through clenched teeth, he tried to remain from changing "I know you've found me River, but maybe that was't so great. I've had family....and I was taught to show them whose boss and what not." He shook a little more but shook his head and took a few deep breaths.

River grinned mischievously, and pushed him to the ground, going to her base instincts, and sticking her fangs to his throat, "For now, I'm boss, Ren." Her voice was teasing, and her eyes had a hidden light, but to show him she was playing, she poked his nose.

Ren growled out of instinct and tensed his body, but then he saw what she meant and laughed a little. He looked at her warningly "If you keep playing these games it will get you hurt some day, sis." He smiled and backed her away from him.

River laughed, saying, "Ren, you couldn't hurt me if you wanted." She hugged him tightly, liking the fact she had a brother.

He felt a little uncomfortable "I'm stronger than you thought and you need not to forget my one time of the month." Ren laughed and hugged her back.

River laughed, and said, "Betcha it don't hurt as much as mine!" She giggled like a girl for the first time in forever, and said, "Warning, got about a week, bro."

River blushed, and said, "I just said you have a week till... you know..." She looked at him sheepishly.

Ren shook his head agreeingly "I know. I can feel it moving through me and why my anger is flared. I hate it. Hate it. Fucking sucks and should die." Ren chuckled "That was the wolf."

Ren grew pale and threw his head onto the floor as hard as he could. He sat there, mumbling to himself and cursing himself and mentally kicking himself "Ugh."

River smiled, and pushed him lightly, hugging him, and saying, "Thank you, for being my brother. I know you don't like that I am a halfbreed, but... I will try to be a better wolf than Vampire."

River looked at him, and said, "You've killed more of us, than we've killed of purebloods, believe it or not. Halfbreeds are rare."

Ren was not in the mood to argue. He let go of her and began to walk away from it all, he felt dead some how.

River followed him, and sighed. She knew she shouldn't have said that, and instead she said, "Ren, I'm sorry. Please tell me whats wrong."

Ren hardly heard her, he felt like his mind was covered in red. Blood Rage. He stopped and turned toward her. "It's nothing."

River sighed, and started getting mad a little bit. Her eyes changed from a nice, happy red, to a deep dark crimson with Black where the whites should be, "Ren! Tell me whats wrong, or I will pin you to the ground, and shake you until you tell me whats wrong!

Ren snarled sharply at her and his fangs were extended to the full length "Do not threaten me, River." Ren stood still and ready.

River growled as well, her skin turning black as she did just as she said she would, "It was not a threat, Ren, it was a promise." She growled into his ear.
